When
you think of a scone, you think of a nice cup of coffee. DSM Food limited has a
great free recipe for Traditional Scones. Sometimes it’s best to try something
that is not complicated, budget friendly and just tastes good. Throughout the
day, you are probably snacking on things that are not 100 percent good for you.
With a little bit of sugar, flour and milk, you can be on your way to making the
best scone recipe possible.
This traditional scone recipe is ideal for anyone who
would like to have a delicious treat on hand. You can make these scones to
take to the office or even on a school trip. There really are no limitations
when it comes to baking and taking these scones to a party or get together.
Instead of spending dozens of dollars on scones at your local coffee shop,
make your own. Purchasing coffee and a scone can really add up. Not to
mention that just eating one scone is not going to fill you up.
Instead of letting someone else control your wallet and
scone addiction; consider making your own scones on a weekly basis. Dominic
Milner works hard to give you recipes that are budget friendly and of
course, really simple. Baking does not have to be difficult and this recipe
is a great example of that. Who would have thought you could cook scones
right in your own home? It’s easy because you probably have most of these
ingredients right on your own home. The hardest part of this scone recipe is
figuring out what you will drink with it. Coffee, tea and even hot chocolate
is the perfect match for scones. It’s nice to sit down on a cold (or hot)
day and enjoy a warm drink and delicious scone.
Traditional Scone Recipe:

1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
60g Margarine
200ml of Milk
200ml Water

spread germs to others during this fun time.

First, sift
the dry ingredients together and place them in a medium mixing bowl.
Melt
the margarine in a pan over a low heat then add the water and the milk.

the bowl with the dry ingredients reserving a small amount for glazing.
Blend
together and then knead the dough on your clean worktop, until you have a
nice & stiff mixture.
Once you
have the correct mixture, cut into round shapes and place them on a baking
tray.
Cook your
scones for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 230 degrees Celsius.
Allow
scones to cool before serving. Scones are ideal warm or cold.
