1 Loaf
Italian Bread, Halved Lengthways Then Cut Crossways Diagonally Into Slices
1 Garlic Clove (Grated/Crushed)
2 tbsp Olive oil
2 Large Tomatoes Peeled, Seeded And Chopped
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 Cup Chopped Fresh Basil
Method:
1. Toast the bread under the grill until lightly browned.
Combine the garlic and olive oil and brush over one side of the bread.
Spread the tomatoes over the bread. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill for
about 30 seconds to heat the tomatoes.
2. Sprinkle with basil and serve. I also like to add a
sprinkle of strong cheese to mine as well.
